GOLF: Dustin Pimm was recently honored by Golf Digest magazine, which included him in its Top 50 Male Golfers to Watch list. Pimm enjoyed a breakout season at the University of Utah last year, carding six top-10 finishes in the regular season, including a win at the Purple and Red Invitational. His stroke average of 71.23 led the Mountain West Conference and he placed sixth at last year's conference championships. Pimm finished fifth in the NCAA West Regional and competed in the NCAA National Championships.
CROSS COUNTRY: The Utes travel to the BYU Autumn Classic in Provo on Saturday at 10 a.m. Last week the Utes went 3-0 at the Reno Chase Race.

GOLF: Utah State's men's golf team will open its 2006-07 season when it heads to the 38th-Annual Gene Miranda Falcon Invitational in Colorado Springs, Colo., Saturday and Sunday.
SOCCER: Utah State soccer heads to San Francisco this weekend to compete in the City By The Bay Classic, hosted by the University of San Francisco. The Aggies will face Long Beach State on Friday at 8:30 p.m. (MST) before returning to the pitch on Sunday to take on Cal State Northridge.

SOCCER: The Utah Valley State soccer team suffered a 3-0 setback to Boise State on Wednesday. The game was tied at zero at halftime but Boise came out and scored three goals early in the second half.
Also, Utah Valley State's Rebecca Petersen has been named the United Soccer Conference Offensive Player of the Week for performance last week against New Jersey Institute of Technology. Petersen tallied two goals and an assist in a 6-0 win.

CROSS COUNTRY: Seth Pilkington and Lindsey Anderson were named Big Sky Cross Country Runners of the Week for their performance last weekend at a meet at USU.
