LONDON -- BT (NYSE:BT), one of the world's leading providers of communications solutions and services operating in 170 countries, today announced that Customer Experience Director Ian Rosarius has been named a recipient of the 2007 CIO Ones to Watch award from IDG's CIO magazine and CIO Executive Council. This exclusive awards program salutes 25 rising stars in information technology (IT) who bring leadership, innovation and value to their organization and are primed to become future CIOs.
Ian played a pivotal role in transforming the way Fake Richard Mille Watches BT measures IT value, moving from measuring time, cost and quality of IT deliveries to a relentless focus on measuring the actual customer experience. All IT deliveries at BT are now evaluated exclusively on the basis of two customer measures: improving the percentage of deliveries that are "right the first time" and shortening the delivery cycle time. This laser focus drives the entire business to concentrate on enhancing the BT customer experience, which is the real value of IT to BT.
Ian also enabled a dramatic reduction in delivery cycles from, in some cases, years to 90 days. Key to this transition was the widespread adoption Porsche Design Watch of what BT refers to as 'hothousing' - agile prototyping workshops that closely map software development to customer needs by relying on direct customer engagement. Ian developed the initial hothousing framework and then established a best practices methodology that has been adopted across multiple business units within BT.
"Ian has played a key role in creating a new IT organization at BT that delivers business agility, real-time data mastering and business insight," said Al-Noor Ramji, CIO of BT Group and CEO of its IT division, BT Exact. "Ian has a rare understanding of how to drive technical innovation while keeping the customer experience top-of-mind. This is a critical skill for any successful CIO."
Replica Chanel"Today's CIOs have pioneered our information-based economy. The leadership requirements for tomorrow's CIOs will be even more demanding. This award recognizes those who have what it takes to make that leap," says Abbie Lundberg, CIO editor in chief.
This award win follows on the heels of BT receiving consecutive CIO 100 awards from CIO magazine in 2005 and 2006.
